Sweetheart events and packages attract visitors to West Virginia for Feb. 14 weekend

Sweetheart events and packagesWith Feb. 14 falling on Sunday in 2010, visitors can celebrate all weekend long with special events and sweetheart deals in West Virginia. Valentine’s Day attractions include music, dancing and getaway packages from West Virginia state parks.

This year, help with planning West Virginia getaways is available online from the West Virginia Department of Commerce travel and recreation trip planner. By clicking on www.wvcommerce.org/travel/travelplanner, the visitor can search by event, attraction or destination. The travel plan details can be “packed” into an electronic suitcase to share with other travel partners.
